Justin Hodges is back in Brisbane and back to his best. After beginning his career with the Broncos in 2000, Hodges linked with the Sydney Roosters and established himself as one of the most damaging centres in the game.
He was selected to make his State of Origin debut for Queensland in 2002 and finished the year celebrating a premiership with the Roosters.
The following year he was back in the Maroons side but knee injuries stymied his progress and a homesick Hodges returned to Brisbane in 2006 keen to re-establish himself as one of the game's most dominant centres.
That he did in rapid time. Hodges played a dominant role as the Broncos surged towards a premiership that season. He was rewarded with Queensland and Australian selection, playing all four Tests as the Kangaroos won the Tri-Nations.
He entered 2007 among the game's best players. Strong as a bull and deceivingly quick, Hodges is a genuine gamebreaker and destined for a long career in both the Queensland and Australian sides.
