Few personalities in rugby league are as loved as Gorden Tallis. The ‘Raging Bull’ – as he was known in his playing days – was one of the finest forwards of his generation.
During a playing career spanning more than a decade, Gorden was recognised as one of rugby league’s toughest & most inspirational leaders. He captained his country and state, and won 3 premierships with the Brisbane Broncos. He was also awarded the Clive Churchill medal for his man of the match performance in the 1998 NRL Grand Final.
Throughout his career Gorden also worked tirelessly off the field for the club, junior development and the community.
Since retiring at the end of the 2004 season, Gorden has embarked on a successful career in the media & corporate world having recently been introduced as Fox Sports’ latest rugby league commentator. He was also appointed to the NRL board in 2005 which is a mark of the respect with which he is held in the game.

Outside of his corporate and business endeavours, Gorden spends considerable energy engaged in charitable causes. He also funds and helps organise the annual Gorden Tallis Cup, a weekend junior rugby league competition that attracts 300 young footballers.
