Michael Ennis, 25, is one of the NRL’s up and coming superstars. He has played over 72 games in the NRL for the Bulldogs, Brisbane Broncos and other previous clubs the St George Illawarra Dragons and Newcastle Knights.
Ennis was a strong force in the Brisbane Broncos team over the past two seasons guiding the side to some impressive victories. Michael reached his career best form in 2008 dazzling opposition defenses with his creativity and speed out of dummy half as well as his goal kicking strike rate. Michael was the leading point scorer in 2008 for the Broncos club.
His stylish play soon endeared him to the Bulldogs club and in 2008 Ennis signed a three year deal with the club. The Bulldogs quickly identified Ennis as one of the players emerging in the game and soon established that he would be a part of the clubs long term plans for the future. Ennis' experience, enthusiasm and leadership are sure to take the Bulldogs club to another level.
Ennis exhibits coolness under pressure normally reserved for players with many more years experience. After a stellar 2008 season, there is little doubt Ennis will be playing representative football in seasons to come.
