They are widely recognised in the sports industry as two of the most dynamic individuals to pioneer modern sports marketing in Australia.
George Mimis and Darryl Mather are responsible for managing the affairs of SFX's extensive client base and are assisted by several key agents across the different sporting codes.

With a commercial background in merchant banking and a founder of SFX Australia, George Mimis has successfully managed the business affairs of many well-known sportspeople including Pat Rafter, Gorden Tallis, Darren Lockyer and Chris Anderson. George has top level relationships with major media groups and sports sponsors.

Director, Athlete Representation

Darryl Mather is the Director of Athlete Representation of SFX Sports Group in Australia and has been involved in sports management for over ten years. With a senior managerial background in human resource development both within the public and private sector, Darryl Mather made the transition to sports management through his corporate network in the sports of rugby league and rugby union. Since then, Darryl Mather has gone on to manage a number of major players in both codes including Danny Buderus, Matt Gidley, Luke Ricketson, Mark Gerrard and Joe Roff. Darryl has top level contacts with major sports-based sponsors and possesses extensive working relationships with all the major media organisations and administrators in the sports of rugby league, rugby union and soccer.

Client Manager

Paul Sutton is a Senior Client Manager for SFX Sports Group specialising in Rugby league and Rugby Union. Paul Sutton has successfully spearheaded SFX's rugby league recruitment & development program throughout Australia, guiding players such as Kieran Foran, Josh Dugan and Jarod Croker from junior to professional NRL level. Paul's stable includes next generation NRL players such as Jake Marketo, Kayne Lawton, Jordan Rankin and Trent Merrin. Paul Sutton has been involved with Rugby League for a number of years, playing professionally for the Cronulla Sharks and South Sydney Rabbitohs before embarking on his career in client management. After finishing his successful playing career Paul Sutton spent six years as a Detective in the NSW Police force. Paul’s educational background is in the fields of Social Science, Investigation and Law.

Gorden Tallis is a national role model and one of Australia’s great sporting identities. 2004 has seen the end of his illustrious rugby league playing career & he is now looking forward to his future as an NRL Board Member, and an ambassador for rugby league. SFX is delighted that Gorden has also elected to assist the company with it's commercial goals.
Recognised as one of rugby league’s toughest and most inspirational leaders, Gorden Tallis has competed at the highest level for more than ten years. During this time he has captained & represented his Country & State and won 3 premierships with the Brisbane Broncos. He was also awarded the Clive Churchill medal for his man of the match performance in the 1998 NRL Grand Final. Throughout his career Gorden has worked tirelessly off the field for the Brisbane Broncos, junior development and the community.

Marketing & Public Relations

After studying an Advanced Diploma in Sports Management, Charlotte pursued her passion of working in the sporting industry. She previously worked for the Sydney Roosters Rugby League club before moving to SFX to pursue her goals in the Marketing and Events fields.
Charlotte is an integral part of the SFX team and is responsible for the day to day management of marketing endorsements and contract fulfilment for SFX's stable of clients. She handles all booking enquiries for athlete appearances and their charity alignments; she is also involved in all events run by the company.

Client Relations
SFX Sports Group, Sydney
Jackie is one of the key personnel in SFX's athlete representation business. Her role at SFX includes assisting both the Managing Director George Mimis and Director of Athlete Representation Darryl Mather. She is responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day operations in the office. Jackie is also an integral part of the events division and is involved in all events run by the company.

Financial Controller

Megan Lavender has held the post of Financial Controller of SFX Sports Group, Australia, since 2008. Currently also a non-executive director of three Australian public companies, Megan previously served as national head of corporate affairs for a global group of companies in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and resource sectors, as an elected council member on the City of Canada Bay Council, as an aide to a past federal minister for sport and tourism, and in a variety of senior management roles.
A fellow of the Australian Society of Association Executives, Risk Management Institution of Australasia, Australian Sales and Marketing Institute, and Australian Institute of Office Professionals, Megan is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Australian College of Educators, Australasian Mutuals Institute, Australian Human Resource Institute, Australasian Compliance Institute, and Australian Institute of Training and Development, and an associate member of the Australian Marketing Institute, Public Relations Institute of Australia, and Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
The thirty eight year old arts, education, speech and drama graduate of Macquarie University, in Sydney, and Trinity College, London, is also a member of the Royal Automobile Club of Australia, Sydney Turf Club, City Tattersalls Club, NSW Harness Racing Club, Bankstown Harness Racing and Agricultural Society (of which she serves on the Bankstown Paceway board), Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, and National Press Club.
