George Mimis / Managing Director
With over 20 years of experience in the sports industry George has been pioneering in recognising and advancing athletes needs for sound career and commercial advice. He has also overseen and managed a business with commercial reach and experience across all facets of the sports industry including talent, major events, television, sponsorship, sports marketing and digital.
With a commercial background in merchant banking and a founder of SFX Australia, George Mimis has successfully managed the business affairs of many well-known sports identities. George has top level relationships with major media groups, sporting teams and sports sponsors and has cultivated some of the longest standing relationships within the industry.
He attended the University of Sydney studying a Bachelor of Economics & Econometrics.
Paul Sutton / Director, Talent
Paul is a respected and highly credentialed agent within the rugby league landscape. His high work ethic and innate ability to identify emerging talent is unparalleled.
Paul's 15+ years within the industry has seen him develop, nurture and ultimately forge the careers of household names within rugby league, such as Michael Morgan, Luke Keary, Josh Dugan, Jake and Tom Trbojevic, to name a handful.
He is a leader in contract negotiations, a firm believer in reaching mutually beneficial outcomes and is driven to ensure that both his clients and stakeholders have a positive association with his dealings.
Steve Shearer / Client Manager
Steve joined SFX after running his own sports management company for 6 years. During this time Steve has identified and is now managing some of the best young talent in the game. SFX made the approach to Steve back in 2014, with the view of Steve's expertise and his ability to identify talent in a key demographical area for rugby league.
Steve is well renowned for the level of service he provides his clients.
Having held Senior Executive positions right throughout his career, Steve understands the professionalism required in today’s modern game and the importance of maximising opportunities for his clients.
Chris Highett / Commercial Manager
Chris has joined SFX after 20+ years working in various Commercial Roles in sport. With his varied background and a particular focus in the world of NRL, he has joined SFX to compliment our other team members to drive commercial outcomes for our talent.
Having worked for a number of NRL clubs over the years, Chris has a strong understanding of not only the athletes that SFX represent and their focus on achieving results on the field, but also understands the requirements and strategies of the corporate businesses that would like to align their brands to drive a mutually beneficial outcome and partnership for both.
Jackie Scott (nee Fairbairn) / Account Manger - NRL
Starting her career in travel & tourism Jackie quickly realised her passion lay in the sports industry and has had roles with ISC, SFX Sports, the Cronulla Sharks, NRL and Ice Hockey Australia over a 14-year period.

With a background in sports administration, event coordination and travel, Jackie is responsible for the day-to-day management of marketing endorsements, PR, sponsorship fulfilment, media and compliance for SFX's stable of clients.

Jackie was previously employed with SFX Sports from 2008 to 2012 in the role of Client Relations and Office Manager, and is covering Charlotte Azar while on maternity leave.
